Update: Breakfast starts at 8am and Ceremonies start at 9:30am. Previous emails had stated that the ceremonies began at 10am.
The Centerboard Yacht Club's 2026 boating and social season kicks Saturday morning, June 6. The traditional pancake breakfast starts at 8:00am and will be followed by the Opening Day ceremonies starting at 9:30am. The ceremonies will include Commodore Gretchen Henderson's welcoming message, introductions of Trustees, Committee Chairpersons, active Past Commodores and Honorary Members, some administrative activity, and conclude with the firing of the cannon to officially start the season.
The new key cards for entry to the front gate and Clubhouse will be distributed (they will be available for pickup in the Steward's Shed subsequently) to attendees. We hope you can join us this Saturday morning as Centerboard officially starts its 90th year.
We will have official 90th t-shirts and sweatshirts for purchase so come prepared to spend! $20 for t-shirts and $35 for sweatshirts.
