Work Party #2

Today was a great day for a work party. We had a beautiful day to accomplish a lot of our painting and dock projects. We had 40 members join us today and so far 7 of our 13 new members have joined us.

We accomplished work on:
- the docks - repairing flotation issues, working on brackets
- cleaned up the workboats, painted the bottoms and outside
- dug up the sinkhole, discovered the hole in the sewer pipe, repaired it, and filed in the hole!
- cleaned up the weeds beside the gate - good for visibility!
- raked the front yard.
- repaired the lawn chairs
- cleaned up the east yard and organized the lumber stock
- cleaned the windows inside and out
- worked on finishing up the shack interior
- started painting the fence by the shack


Next week we will be working on:
- roofing the storage closet and patching the Ingalls wing
- finishing up the dock projects
- sealing the docks
- fixing the ceiling panels over the fireplace
- painting the fence
- yard projects
- and lots of odds and ends
