CYC Regatta volunteers
The 2010 CYC Regatta is coming up on June 12 and we're still looking for a few more volunteers for registration, party setup and the committee boat. Volunteers are "rewarded" with dinner and music from For Pete's Sake as well as some beverages from Gritty's (where appropriate)
Registration and party setup are both 90-minute or so tasks. Registration takes place in the morning and party setup takes place in the early afternoon.
Committee boat duties are all day but do get you a front row seat at the races.
We're also looking for a volunteer to run the committee boat as well. Power boats around 30' with some weather protection are ideal.
Lastly, I highly encourage any sailors who haven't registered already to do so, even if you're not a regular racer.
Let me know if you're interested in helping out in any aspect, if even for a short time.
