As many of you are likely aware, the process for updating, beautifying, and maintaining the facilities at CYC began years ago. Each Spring members have come together to form work parties and have added great value to the property over time. We set a record for the June meeting - the Trustee meeting was wrapped up in about 10 minutes as we briefly went over the last meeting, a few items around the club, and then jumped into a club meeting devoted to brainstorming ideas for the new facility.

The club meeting on March 16 was the rescheduled date from the snow storm (one of two we had this year) The meeting had about 35 people with 20 or so members in attendance. We enjoyed a great talk from Nat & Betsy Warren White about their 5 year journey around the world in a sailboat.

We had a very nice turnout on Friday evening for the Past Commodore's Lobster Stew event. There were 72 people in attendance. Dick Ingalls, Jack Callahan and Guy Gledhill led the kitchen effort with Mike Snow, Andy Howe, Tom Dobbins, Chuck Barr, and Paul Morin assisting. All the other PC's who attended lent a hand service the stew and cleaning up. We gave out every drop of stew and all the comments about the meal were positive.
