Treasurer – the finances are consistent with expectations. We are even saving some money on heating to date. (Presumably from warm weather? Also adjustments made to the…

Below is the text from my address to the Change of Watch. As incoming Commodore I hoped to give you an understanding of what my goals and philosophy are. Some folks did not attend and I figured if you wished to see it, here it is.
We are here today because some men got together in 1937 and thought it would be a good idea to set up a club to promote their sailboat races. Over the years our club has grown, changed and expanded to include…

We had a very nice turnout on Friday evening for the Past Commodore's Lobster Stew event. There were 72 people in attendance. Dick Ingalls, Jack Callahan and Guy Gledhill led the kitchen effort with Mike Snow, Andy Howe, Tom Dobbins, Chuck Barr, and Paul Morin assisting. All the other PC's who attended lent a hand service the stew and cleaning up. We gave out every drop of stew and all the comments about the meal were positive.
Around 7:15 or so we called the club meeting to…

Commodore’s Summary
We had our first meeting of this season. I hosted a commodore’s chat with 6 members at 1815. We had an open discussion about meetings – the importance of running them in an organized fashion and making sure that they are held in a regular and predictable schedule. We also talked about membership involvement, how do we engage the club members and get many different people involved in the club and…

Just thought the community might be interested in knowing that last weekend, while motoring in the anchorage around the low tide, we SLAMMED into an underwater obstruction (a rock, as it turns out) just to the north of Mooring #35. A quick, dead stop and I went flying, and, after xrays, turns out I busted a toe. Who knew? So watch out when motoring in the anchorage at low low tide. Not the best way to end the season...
