Northeast Harbor Race at Gulf of Maine

On August 27th sailors will depart Portland from Maine Yacht Center in the 3rd Northeast Harbor Race. They will be sailing east towards Penobscot Bay and Mt. Desert Island. Friday's sunset will fade behind them as a full moon illuminates the night. Matinicus will appear on the horizon thru the sunrise as they head to the finish of this 100 mile odyssey. Commodore's Summary of the January Trustee's Meeting and February Club Meeting

Trustees Meeting, Thursday, January 26, 2012 1900 We had a good meeting on a cold and wet evening. There were 3 trustees absent. The Commodore’s Chat focused on ideas for the 75th anniversary season events. The meeting started with the reports from committees. Treasurer – the finances are consistent with expectations.
