The clubhouse and grounds are for the exclusive use of the members, their families and guests.

Members have a duty to behave responsibly and to see that their family and guests behave responsibly. This duty includes the responsible use of alcohol in order to preserve the health and safety of all and the family atmosphere of the Club and to avoid disrupting the use and enjoyment of the Club by other members.

Any damage to Club property will be paid for by the member causing it or whose guest and family members caused it.

No club property shall be taken from the premises except by the permission from a member of the Bridge.

The Club shall not be used for commercial purposes except as provided under our rental agreement.

Use of the Clubhouse & grounds for social events is restricted and subject to our rental policy. The Trustees or an appointed committee must approve all events.  All events must be reviewed by and scheduled through the Rear Commodore.

Members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.  This includes the disposal of all refuse, litter and food debris on floors, counters or on the grounds.

Members and guests will show courtesy and respect to all others at all times, both on and off the water.

Discrimination, harassing or bullying is against club policy.

“Social Members” have equal status to “Boating Members” on the lawn, clubhouse and parking lot.

Any breaches of conduct should be submitted in writing to any member of the Board of Trustees.  If there is a breach of conduct, procedures will be followed as per the CYC By-Laws, Article X.
